SCRATCH RESISTANCE: LOW
Low resistance to scratches and daily wear and tear.
HEAT RESISTANCE: HIGH
Hot pots and pans can be placed directly on the countertop without any risk of burning the surface.
STAIN RESISTANCE: LOW
Requires sealing to resists stains from water and culinary agents such as coffee, wine, oil and citrus fruit.
UV RESISTANCE: HIGH
Color will not fade when exposed to sunlight.
ACID RESISTANCE: LOW
Etching will occur when exposed to acids like lemons and vinegar. Etching is considerably less visible on brushed or honed stone.
FOOD SAFE: AVAILABLE
